Flipping the Classroom

Flipping the classroom blurs distinctions of when and where learning may occur by mixing equal elements of interactivity and preparedness on the parts of both students and teachers.

  1. Hey Nick,

Flipping the classroom may not be a completely new idea, but it's still a pretty good one. Essentially I view it as an exercise in resource and time management. When do your students need you most and for what tasks? Some in-class group work may be more beneficial than lecture, so shift the focus of background info to the students' time. They may thank you in the long run.
